Now and Indeed Always
The reason I resisted becoming a freelancer for so long is fear, borderline existential stuff against the background of the American Dream: what if I can’t pay my bills? What if no one wants me? What if I am not good enough? The only way to I know overcome fear is to do. Sometimes I do little bite sized things as the muscles cool from a day of manual labor. Sometimes I take great big gulps and drive across the continent.
